The Italian Design Day in the U.S. kicks off: strong support to the boom in Made in Italy export

The fifth edition of the Italian Design Day in the United States kicks off on July 7th 2021, coordinated by the Embassy of Italy in Washington D.C. and part of the international program promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to celebrate the Italian design and creativity in the world. The network of Consulates, Italian Institutes of Culture and Italian Trade Agency offices in the USA has scheduled 11 events with the presence of internationally renowned designers, architects and experts.

The program will be opened on July 7th at 11:30 am ET with a webinar organized by the Embassy, ​​in collaboration with the Association for Industrial Design (ADI) and with the attendance of the testimonials Flavio Manzoni, Chief Design Officer Ferrari, and Valentina Sumini, Space Architect at MIT Media Lab.

Mariangela Zappia, Ambassador of Italy to the United States, Antonella Andriani, Vice President of ADI, and Alex Terzariol, International Cooperation Delegate of ADI will attend the webinar. The event is part of the celebrations for the 160th anniversary of Italy-U.S. diplomatic relations.
