SECURITY NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC SEEKING SERVICES IN THE CONSULAR BUILDING
All visitors must be screened prior to entering the Consular office and are subject to inspection also via walk-through metal detector and a hand-held metal detector. All personal items will undergo full inspection also by use of x-ray and other detection equipment.
Any visitor refusing to submit to security screening shall be prohibited from entering the Consular office.
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED INSIDE THE CONSULAR BUILDING:
• Food and beverages;
• Weapons or tools of any kind;
• Electronic or recording equipment of any kind to include laptops, cell phones, tape/CD/MP3 players, pagers, keyless remotes, etc.;
• Backpacks, bags, luggage, large purses, oversized strollers, etc. (Since there is no storage space available in the Consular building, please leave these items at home, your hotel, or make other arrangements).
Visitors will be able to leave their items and bags in the lockers located at the entrance of our office.
Our current policies and procedures focus on ensuring that all visitors, regardless of their personal situations and needs, are treated equally and with the dignity, respect, and courtesy they deserve.
All disability-related equipment, aids, devices, service animals continue to be allowed through security checkpoints once cleared through screening.
