The Consulate of Italy in Detroit, Education Office, as part of the initiatives for the 25th Week of Italian Language in the World 2025, is promoting the project “COME MUSICA – The Power of Music in Education,” educational music workshops for Italian language programs, with artist Teo Bok, on November 6 and 7, 2025, in collaboration with schools and universities in Detroit district. The initiative is part of a project that involves nine locations in the US.
With the support of the N.O.I. Foundation in Detroit, Teo Bok will offer workshops over the two days for students and teachers from Grosse Pointe High School and L’Anse Creuse High School, as well as Wayne State University and Michigan State University.
In addition, on November 6, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. ET, an event with Teo Bok will be held at DeRoy Auditorium 01466 at Wayne State University, open to everyone, for a more diverse audience.
