Commemoration for the Victims of the Adrian Train Wreck

On September 24, 2016, starting at 1:00 pm, in the city of Adrian, there will be a memorial ceremony for the victims of the 1901 train wreck. The ceremony will take place at the Oakwood cemetery and will include a religious commemoration and the unveiling of a monument for the Italian victims. The event is organized with the generous contribution of the COMITES of Detroit, the National Italian American Foundation, the City of Adrian, the Consulate of Italy in Detroit, and the local Italian organizations, and under the patronage of the CGIE (General Council of the Italians Abroad).
