“The Extraordinary Italian Taste, I Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo”

The Consulate of Italy, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Chicago, the Dante Alighieri Society of Michigan in collaboration with the Italian Program in the Department of Classical and Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures at Wayne State University, The Italian American Cultural Society, the Italian American Club of Livonia Charitable Foundation and the Federazione Abruzzese of Michigan present, “The Extraordinary Italian Taste, 1st Week of Italian Cuisine in the World”. A live cooking demonstration, coordinated by Iron Chef America Judge Mario Rizzotti, will be held on November 14, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Starting this year, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Ministry of Education, University and Research, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry have signed a memorandum of understanding to promote Italian Haute Cuisine (Alta Cucina Italiana). This agreement has established of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World to highlight the richness of the national culinary tradition in its many regional and cultural diversity.
