For the translation, applicants can hire one of our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/consdetroit.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-italiano\/list-of-translators\/\"><strong>recommended translators<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Consular legalization service can be requested by sending by mail the documents and a cover letter to the address below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Consulate of Italy in Detroit<br \/>\n400 Renaissance Center \u2013 Suite 950,<br \/>\nDetroit, MI 48243<br \/>\nAttn.: LEGAL OFFICE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the envelope, please include the original documents, the translation, a self-addressed, prepaid envelope for the restitution of the legalized documents, and a money order made out to the \u201cConsulate of Italy in Detroit\u201d.
