How to register in AIRE<\/strong><\/p>\n To register in AIRE you must create a profile on the FASTIT Portal<\/a><\/strong>. Citizens who were already registered in the AIRE of another consular jurisdiction and who move to the jurisdiction of the Consulate in Detroit also have to register in the FASTIT Portal. Citizens who move to a different address within this consular jurisdiction will have to change it directly in the FASTIT Portal<\/strong><\/a>, or complete the\u00a0change of address<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0form and send it via email to\u00a0detroit.aire@esteri.it<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n When submitting your request for AIRE registration in the FASTIT Portal<\/strong>, please include the following\u00a0scanned documentation:<\/p>\n 1) Italian ID for each person for whom the AIRE registration is requested<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Italian passport<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 (just the pages showing the passport holder\u2019s information, signature, and the name of the office that issued the document);<\/p>\n OR an\u00a0Italian\u00a0<\/strong>carta\u00a0d\u2019identit\u00e0;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n OR\u00a0letter\/email confirming that the applicant(s) has\/have been granted Italian\u00a0<\/strong>citizenship issued by the Consulate that completed the citizenship application.<\/p>\n 2) Proof of residence in this Consular jurisdiction<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Local state\u00a0driver license<\/strong>\u00a0showing current address;<\/p>\n OR\u00a0Utility bill<\/strong>\u00a0(bank statement, television, phone, etc.);<\/p>\n OR\u00a0Rental contract<\/strong>\u00a0(just the page with the applicant’s name and address).<\/p>\n 3) If available, proof of legal residence in the United States of America<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Valid United States visa<\/strong>;<\/p>\n OR Valid\u00a0Permanent Resident Card<\/strong>;<\/p>\n United States Passport<\/strong>\u00a0(for those who are dual citizens) +\u00a0United States Certificate of Naturalization<\/strong>\u00a0OR\u00a0copy of Consular Report of Birth Abroad<\/strong>\u00a0(only for natural born United States citizens born abroad).<\/p>\n Please note: If all family members reside at the same address, only one proof of residence is necessary and will be considered valid for all AIRE applicants at that address.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"CONSOLATO D’ITALIA UFFICIO ANAGRAFE \/ AIRE 400 Renaissance Center Suite 950 Detroit, Michigan 48243 USA How to register in AIRE To register in AIRE you must create a profile on the FASTIT Portal.
