The first step to obtain equivalency in Italy is to request a Declaration of Value from the Italian Consulate that has jurisdiction over the State in which the educational institution is located and recognized. After obtaining the Declaration of Value, you may present a request for acquiring equivalency to the competent Italian authorities (depending on the case, it could be the Ministry of Education, University and Research or the individual schools).
